Amaroo Cabins Bangalow Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Booking

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with us over the phone, via chat, via email, in-person or online.

We will rely on the authority of the person making the booking to act on behalf of any other guest on the booking and that person will bind all such guest to these terms and conditions.

  1. Definitions
    1. “We”, “us” and/or “our” refers to the Amaroo Cabins Bangalow Pty Ltd.
    2. “Related Parties” includes our current and former officeholders, employees, contractors, consultants, associated persons and related entities.
    3. “Guest” refers to the person(s) making a booking and all staying at the accommodation.
  2. Booking
    1. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by us.
    2. To secure a booking, a valid credit card or pre-payment may be required. We may use your credit card for pre-authorization to validate your credit card and protect from increasing fraud incidents. A pre-authorized amount may be set aside as part of the validation process.
    3. We reserve the right to refuse any booking for any reason.
  3. Payment
    1. Payment is required upon booking, and the amount will be communicated at the time of booking.
    2. We accept payment via credit card, EFT, and other methods as agreed upon.
  4. Cancellation Policy
    1. Cancellations made within 30 days of the booking date are non–refundable.
    2. A 20% deposit will be taken at the time of booking with the full fee payable 30 days prior to check-in. For bookings during peak periods this deposit is non-refundable.
    3. No-shows or early check-outs will not be eligible for a refund.
  5. Check-In and Check-Out
    1. Check-in time is 2PM, and check-out time is 10AM.
    2. Late check-out may be available upon request and may be subject to additional charges. We will inform you of any additional charges for late check-out before they are raised.
  6. Guest Responsibility
    1. Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay and may be charged for repairs or replacement.
      Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. A cleaning fee of $220 will be charged if this policy is violated.
    2. Cabins are to be left in a clean and tidy state. Dishes are to be put in the dishwasher and all bins are to be emptied to the bin area provided. Please run the dishwasher prior to checking out. Any cabins left in an untidy or dirty state will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $220.
    3. 2 small dogs (under 7.5kg each) are allowed at any one time, you must inform us prior to arrival and guests must adhere to the pet policy in the provided guest manual.
  7. Liability
    1. To the greatest extent permitted by law, you release, indemnify and keep us and our Related Parties indemnified from and in respect of all claims, loss (including consequential loss) or liabilities arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your booking or your stay at Amaroo Cabins Bangalow, except to the extent caused by our fraud, default or gross negligence.
    2. To the greatest extent permitted by law, our maximum aggregate liability to you in connection with this agreement or your booking or your stay at Amaroo Cabins Bangalow is limited to an amount not exceeding the amount paid by you for your booking.
    3. This clause is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
    4. This clause survives termination or expiry of our agreement with you under these terms and conditions.
  8. Travel Insurance
    1. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, travel delays and other unforeseen incidents and accidents. We encourage you to read the insurance terms and conditions to ensure you are covered for your planned travel.
  9. Third party promotions and prizing
    1. Amaroo Cabins Bangalow accommodation cannot be purchase for the purpose of third party promotions and prizing without our prior written consent.
  10. Privacy and Personal Information
    1. Guest information will be collected and used in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and our privacy policy which can be viewed on our website at amaroobangalow.com.
  11. Force Majeure
    1. We are not be liable for any loss or failure to perform our obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure is caused by unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control.
  12. Governing Law
    1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. To the extent that any of these terms and conditions are void or unenforceable, they are to be read down, but to the extent that is not possible they are severed from these terms and conditions and the balance provisions remain in full force and effect.
  13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
    1. These terms and conditions were last updated on 1 February 2024. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Guests are advised to regularly consult the terms and conditions on our website to be aware of any changes.
